פריטים אלו של משפחת הפילודנדרום הינם מהיותר עמידים מכלל הצמחים במשפחה זו ומהווים גם צמחי בית וגם צמחי גן ( ובשל כך הינם מהנפוצים במשפחה זו). ניתן להשתמש בהם כצמחי גן במקומות בעלי חצי צל עד צל מלא וכן לגדלם בשיטה הידרופונית.

These varieties are from the hardiest species of this family and serve both as garden and indoor plants. For this reason they are extremely popular and well known. Can be planted in semi shade to full shade, though known to survive in certain conditions in full sun. They can be used as hydroponics plants as well
